Telephone Solicitation - Use of Automated Answering Devices

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person engaged in telephone solicitation from intentionally using an automated answering device to leave a voice message or an automated message related to the solicitation for the recipient of the solicitation or a member of the recipient's household; authorizing legal action against a person engaged in specified telephone solicitation; authorizing the recovery of liquidated or actual damages and reasonable attorneys' fees; providing a limitation on legal action related to telephone solicitation; etc.
