Estates and Trusts - Personal Representatives - Compensation

Synopsis:

Requiring a lawyer who prepares a will naming the lawyer as personal representative to disclose to the client that personal representatives are entitled to reasonable compensation and how the maximum amount of compensation is computed; requiring the disclosure to be in writing and signed by the client; and providing that a lawyer who fails to make the required disclosure is not entitled to compensation for services as personal representative.
