Residential Leases - Termination - Permanent Disability of Tenant
Limiting a tenant's liability if the tenant terminates a residential
lease because of a permanent disability suffered by the tenant or a
resident family member that requires specified structural alterations
made to the leased premises to make the premises safe and the landlord
fails or refuses to make the alterations; requiring the tenant to
provide the landlord with a physician's written certification of the
permanent disability and notice of intent to terminate the lease if
alterations are not made; etc.
