Motor Vehicles - Low-Speed Electric Vehicles - Standards and Restrictions

Synopsis:

Clarifying that the Motor Vehicle Administration may issue certificates of title for, and register, electric low-speed vehicles; prohibiting a person from driving a low-speed vehicle on specified roadways; authorizing the State Highway Administration or a local authority to prohibit a person from driving a low-speed vehicle on specified roadways; and requiring a low-speed vehicle to comply with federal standards.
