Entitled:
Short-Term Disability for Working Families Act

Synopsis:

Providing the criteria under which a covered employee is eligible to receive short-term disability benefits; providing that specified notice of a covered employee's intention to take short-term disability leave be given to a covered employee's employer under specified circumstances; requiring a covered employee to schedule specified treatment in a specified manner under specified circumstances; prohibiting that the short-term disability benefits under this title are not payable under specified circumstances; etc.
