Owner Controlled Insurance Programs for Public Works Projects

Synopsis:

Requiring a public agency to issue a request for proposals for the purpose of determining whether use of an owner controlled insurance program is cost effective and in the best interest of the State if the cost of a public works project is over $100,000,000; requiring the public agency to use an owner controlled insurance program to the extent the public agency determines it is necessary and in the best interest of the State; etc.
