Vehicle Laws - Use of Hand-Held Telephone While Driving - Prohibition

Synopsis:

Prohibiting the driver of a motor vehicle that is in motion from using a hand-held telephone; providing specified exceptions; requiring that a violation of the Act be enforced only as a secondary action; prohibiting a violation of the Act from being classified as a moving violation for the purpose of assessing points; providing that the Act may be enforced only by specified measures during a specified period of time; providing a penalty for the use of a telephone under prohibited circumstances; etc.
