Vehicle Laws - Donations of Vehicles to Charities - Records

Synopsis:

Requiring an owner who transfers an interest in a vehicle to a religious, charitable, or volunteer organization that is exempt from federal taxation to notify the Motor Vehicle Administration of the transfer within 30 days; and requiring the Administration to maintain records of the notifications.
