Health Insurance - Medicare Supplement Policies - Individuals Enrolled in the Maryland Health Insurance Plan

Synopsis:

Requiring health insurance carriers that issue Medicare supplement policies to issue a Medicare supplement policy to an individual who transferred from a substantial, available, and affordable coverage plan to the Maryland Health Insurance Plan on July 1, 2003, is terminated from the Maryland Health Insurance Plan as a result of elilibility for Medicare, and applies for the Medicare supplement policy within a specified period of time; etc.
