Family Law - Adoption - Certificates of Birth

Synopsis:

Repealing the provision of law making the entry of an adoption order by a court grounds for the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to make a new certificate of birth for an individual who was born outside the United States; and repealing a specified qualification that a foreign-born adopted person must meet before the Secretary may prepare and register a certificate of foreign birth.
