Dealers - Precious Metal Objects - Transfer of Records

Synopsis:

Requiring the Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation to encourage specified dealers and law enforcement units to develop a system for transmitting records electronically; and requiring a dealer of precious metal objects to submit transaction records by one of two methods, including by electronic transmittal, in a format acceptable to the receiving law enforcement unit, by the end of each business day.
