State Boat Act - Waterway Improvement Fund - Authorized Uses

Synopsis:

Increasing the amount of funds that may be used from the Waterway Improvement Fund by the Natural Resources Police for marine operations; repealing a provision that requires a payment to the Comptroller for the collection of the vessel excise tax; repealing the authority of the Department of Natural Resources to use the Waterway Improvement Fund for enforcement of the State Boat Act; and providing for a delayed effective date.
