Maryland Medical Assistance Program - Maryland Children's Health Program

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to provide guaranteed eligibility for enrollees in managed care organizations in the Medicaid program and in the Maryland Children's Health Program under specified circumstances; altering the eligible family income for coverage under the Program; requiring specified individuals to pay a premium as a requirement for enrollment and participation in the Program; authorizing the Department to implement a tiered premium structure based on specified factors; etc.
