Entitled:
Income Tax - Credit for Classroom Supplies Purchased by Teachers

Synopsis:

Authorizing specified elementary or secondary school teachers to claim a credit against the State income tax for specified classroom supplies purchased; providing that the credit may not exceed $300; prohibiting the unused amount of the credit from being carried over to any other taxable year; requiring a claimant to keep records for 3 years; requiring an addition modification to determine Maryland adjusted gross income if the credit is claimed; etc.
