Altering the eligibility requirements for specified health insurance
benefits to include specified surviving spouses and dependent children
of a deceased Maryland Transit Administration retiree; providing that
specified dependents who receive a lump-sum payment of benefits under
the Maryland Transit Administration Retirement Plan are ineligible for
specified health insurance benefits; and altering the definition of
"creditable service" to include service while a member of the Maryland
Transit Administration Retirement Plan.
