Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System - DROP - Creditable Service

Synopsis:

Requiring a member of the Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System to have at least 25 and less than 30 years of creditable service to be eligible to participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Program; and providing that one of the options for selecting the period of participation in the Deferred Retirement Option Program be based on a specified amount of creditable service.
