Synopsis:

Authorizing a person who reasonably believes that he or she is the victim of identity fraud to petition the District Court or a circuit court for an expedited determination that the person is the victim of identity fraud; specifying the required elements of a petition; requiring a copy of the petition to be served on the local State's Attorney; prohibiting an individual from knowingly providing false information in connection with a petition; etc.
