Entitled:
Teachers' and Local Employees' Retirement Enhancement Act of 2004

Synopsis:

Providing for an alternate pension selection under the contributory pension benefit for members of the Teachers' Pension System; amending the definition of "earnable compensation" for members of the Teachers' Retirement System and the Teachers' Pension System; providing specified annual adjustments to the normal service retirement allowances of retirees of the Teachers' Retirement System and the Teachers' Pension System as of July 1, 2004; etc.
