Entitled:
Homeowner's Property Tax Assessment Cap

Synopsis:

Providing that the percentage of the homestead property tax credit for State, county, and municipal corporation property tax purposes shall be the lesser of a specified cost-of-living adjustment percentage or 103%; requiring the Department of Assessments and Taxation to determine the cost-of-living adjustment percentage by October 1 each year, based on the increase in the consumer price index for a specified period of time; and providing for the termination of the Act; etc.
