Synopsis:

Altering the definition of an ambulatory surgical facility to include specified entities that operate for the purpose of providing surgical services to patients requiring a period of postoperative observation not exceeding 23 hours; requiring the Office of Health Care Quality to adopt regulations providing for the oversight of 23-hour recovery care provided by an ambulatory surgical facility; etc.
