Health Insurance - Physician Credentialing Process

Synopsis:

Requiring health insurance carriers to complete the process of credentialing a physician and issue an active provider number to the physician within 60 days after receiving a completed application from the physician; and requiring the carriers to reimburse the physician provider for health care services provided during the 60-day period.
