Public Assistance - Transitional Emergency Medical and Housing Assistance

Synopsis:

Establishing the Transitional Emergency Medical and Housing Assistance Program as a State-funded assistance program for temporarily needy residents who are unable to maintain gainful employment due to a medically verified condition lasting for a specified period; establishing that the Program shall be administered by local departments of social services in conformity with specified regulations; requiring the Social Services Administration to adopt specified regulations; etc.
