Tobacco Tax - Tobacco Products other than Cigarettes - Revenues for School Textbooks

Synopsis:

Increasing the tobacco tax rate imposed on tobacco products other than cigarettes from 15% to 30% of the wholesale price of the tobacco products; providing for the distribution of specified tobacco tax revenues to a special fund to be used only to provide funding for textbooks for specified elementary and secondary schools in the State; repealing the discount allowed to licensed cigarette wholesalers on the purchase of tobacco tax stamps; etc.
