Synopsis:

Increasing the penalty for the crime of aggravated cruelty to animals if the violation results in the death of the animal, from imprisonment not exceeding 3 years or a fine not exceeding $5,000 or both to imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or a fine not exceeding $10,000 or both.
