Urging institutions of higher education in the State that receive
State funds to provide teacher education reading programs that are
aligned with the federal No Child Left Behind Act; urging specified
institutions of higher education to revise their undergraduate and
continuing education courses to strongly emphasize specified elements;
and providing that a copy of this resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Services to specified individuals.
