Entitled:
Commercial Law - Maryland Telephone Consumer Protection Act

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from violating the federal Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act or the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act; providing that a violation of the Act is an unfair or deceptive trade practice and is subject to specified enforcement and penalty provisions; requiring the Office of the Attorney General to report to specified committees of the General Assembly by July 1, 2005, on the status of enforcement of the Act.
