Synopsis:

Creating the Maryland Technology Investment Program; requiring the Board of Trustees of the State Retirement and Pension System, in consultation with the Maryland Technology Development Corporation, to establish and administer the Program; requiring the Board of Trustees to enter into a partnership agreement with a venture capital general partner; requiring that a venture capital general partner that contracts with the Board of Trustees seek investments in qualified technology and bioscience businesses, etc.
