Public Health - Licensed Pharmacists - Dispensing Emergency Contraception

Synopsis:

Authorizing a licensed pharmacist to dispense emergency contraception if the pharmacist has a specified arrangement with a licensed physician that is approved by the Board of Pharmacy and the State Board of Physicians; authorizing a licensed pharmacist to initiate the arrangement; providing for the duration of the arrangement; requiring the Board of Pharmacy and the State Board of Physicians to jointly develop and adopt regulations to implement the Act; etc.
