Vehicle Laws - Antitheft Provisions - Key Duplication and Possession

Synopsis:

Requiring a person, subject to exceptions, who makes a motor vehicle key for another to obtain a signature and record specified information; requiring records to be kept for 2 years and made available to the Motor Vehicle Administration and to law enforcement officers; prohibiting an individual from possessing a key to the motor vehicle of another with the intent to violate a specified provision of law; prohibiting an individual from duplicating a key to the motor vehicle of another without permission; establishing specified, etc.
