Public Safety - Collection of DNA Sample - Arrestee Charged with Crime of Violence

Synopsis:

Requiring an individual who is charged with a crime of violence to submit a DNA sample to the Department of State Police, subject to adequate funding for the collection of DNA samples; clarifying that the failure of an individual on probation to provide a DNA sample is a violation of probation; providing that the failure of an individual who is charged with a crime of violence to submit a DNA sample to the Department of State Police is a misdemeanor; etc.
