Synopsis:

Altering limitations on the number of jurors empaneled in a jury trial of a civil action to allow more than six but not more than nine jurors under specified circumstances; providing for verdicts by a jury of less than or more than six jurors in a trial of a civil action under specified circumstances; and providing for the appointment and role of alternate jurors in a civil action.
