Optional Retirement Program - Health Insurance Benefits for Surviving Spouses and Dependent Children

Synopsis:

Reducing the years of service from 25 to 16, that members of the Optional Retirement Program must obtain for their spouses or dependent children to be eligible for health insurance benefits under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program; providing for the funding of health insurance benefits for spouses or dependent children of retirees of the Optional Retirement Program; and providing for the funding of the full salary and fringe benefits of specified State employees.
