Vehicle Laws - Regulation of Charitable Organizations Accepting Donations of Vehicles

Synopsis:

Requiring charitable organizations exempt from taxation under { 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code that solicit or accept charitable donations of vehicles to comply with specified provisions of law; requiring a certain religious, charitable, or volunteer organization that accepts a donation of a vehicle to submit a specified report, within a week of accepting the donation, to the Motor Vehicle Administration in a manner required by the Administration; exempting specified charitable organizations from the annual license fee; etc.
