Health Insurance - Maintenance Drug Prescriptions - Mail Order Purchase

Synopsis:

Repealing a prohibition against specified health insurance policies or contracts imposing a co-payment, deductible, or other condition on the use of a community pharmacy that is not imposed on the services of a mail order pharmacy; prohibiting specified health insurers from limiting the purchase of maintenance drugs to purchase through mail order pharmacies; and authorizing specified health insurers to establish cost sharing for retail purchase of maintenance drugs that differs from cost sharing for mail order purchase.
