Education - County Boards of Education - Determination of Minimum School Days and Hours

Synopsis:

Repealing the requirement that each public school be open for pupil attendance for at least 180 days and at least 1,080 school hours during the school year; requiring each county board of education to determine a minimum number of school days during a school year, a minimum number of hours during a school year, a minimum number of hours during a school day, and whether to be open on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays under specified circumstances; etc.
