Synopsis:

Authorizing the Board of Directors of the Maryland Health Insurance Plan to adopt regulations to limit enrollment of otherwise eligible individuals in the Plan under specified circumstances; expanding the sources of revenue for the Maryland Health Insurance Plan Fund to include money donated or awarded to the Fund; authorizing the Board to adjust premiums for Plan coverage based on specified geographic areas; and authorizing the Board to subsidize premiums, deductibles, and other policy expenses based on a Plan member's income.
