Maryland Medical Assistance Program and Maryland Children's Health Program - Guaranteed Eligibility and Reenrollment

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) to provide guaranteed eligibility for enrollees in managed care organizations in the Maryland Medical Assistance Program and in the Maryland Children's Health Program (MCHP) for 6 months unless an enrollee obtains health insurance through another source; requiring DHMH to allow specified individuals to reenroll in managed care organizations under MCHP under specified circumstances; etc.
