Synopsis:

Altering a definition of "health care provider" to include physician assistants for purposes of specified provisions of law concerning health care malpractice; requiring that specified health care malpractice awards or verdicts be modified to the extent of specified payments, reimbursements, or indemnification for past medical expenses, less specified costs, under specified circumstances; etc.
