Lottery for Schools Act of 2005

Synopsis:

Requiring the Comptroller to distribute specified lottery proceeds to specified local school systems; requiring that the local school systems use specified lottery proceeds distributed to them to fund the program commonly known as the Bridge to Excellence in Public Schools; specifying that the proceeds distributed under the Act to a local school system are intended to provide additional revenue for public education and may not replace other funds allocated to public education in that local school system; etc.
