Property and Casualty Insurance - Transfer Between Affiliates

Synopsis:

Specifying that a property and casualty insurer's offer to assign, place, or transfer an insured from one affiliated company to another affiliated company within an insurance holding company system is not a cancellation or nonrenewal for purposes of specified laws that apply; providing that assignment, placement, or transfer of an insured from one affiliated company to another within an insurance holding company system shall be deemed an offer to renew subject to notice rights for consumers; etc.
