Synopsis:

Repealing the requirement that a standing committee of the General Assembly receive prior approval from the Legislative Policy Committee to carry out its functions or powers by issuing subpoenas, compelling the attendance of witnesses, compelling the production of documents, administering oaths, and taking depositions.
