Institutions of Higher Education - Policies and Programs Related to Student Credit and Credit Card Marketers

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Higher Education Commission to establish on or before January 1, 2006, a policy concerning the on-campus solicitation of students at institutions of higher education in the State by credit card marketers; mandating that the Commission require institutions to provide an education program concerning credit card use to students, as specified; defining terms; requiring the Commission and institutions of higher education to receive input and hold hearings, as specified; etc.
