Ethics - Members of School Boards and County Superintendents of Education - Application of Provisions

Synopsis:

Designating members of school boards as State officials who are subject to specified State ethics laws applicable to State officials; designating county superintendents of education as public officials who are subject to specified State ethics laws applicable to public officials; and establishing that specified provisions governing the conflict of interest standards, financial disclosure requirements, and lobbying regulations of school systems do not apply to members of school boards or specified county superintendents of education.
