Income Tax Checkoff - General Fund Contribution
Providing individuals and corporations an opportunity for voluntary
payments of additional State income tax through contributions to the
State General Fund; requiring the Comptroller to include on income tax
return forms a checkoff option allowing for a contribution to the
State General Fund; allowing individuals and corporations to deduct a
contribution from a refund or add the contribution to income tax to be
paid; and requiring the Comptroller to collect the contributions and
distribute them in a specified manner.
