Synopsis:

Increasing the maximum limit of a penalty for any offense in charter counties; providing for an annual increase of the limit of a penalty for any offense in charter counties in direct proportion to the percent change in the Consumer Price Index; defining the Consumer Price Index to be used for calculating the annual increase of the maximum limit of a penalty for any offense in charter counties; providing for the effective date of specified provisions of the Act; etc.
