Carroll County - Hotel Rental Tax

Synopsis:

Authorizing Carroll County to impose a hotel rental tax at not more than 5%; providing that the hotel rental tax in Carroll County does not apply to a hotel with 10 or fewer sleeping rooms; requiring Carroll County to distribute the hotel rental tax revenue in a specified manner; providing that in Carroll County unpaid hotel rental tax is a lien against the real and personal property of the person owing the tax; etc.
