Synopsis:

Prohibiting a merchant from including a provision for automatic renewal in a contract for consumer services without notice in a specified manner; providing for the contents of the notice; authorizing a consumer to refuse to renew the contract in a specified manner; making automatic renewal of the contract voidable by the consumer; providing that specified penalties are void and unenforceable under specified circumstances; etc.
