Pharmacy Benefits Managers Regulation Act of 2005

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a pharmacy benefits manager from establishing the amount of reimbursement based on the type of prescriber; prohibiting a Pharmacy Benefits Manager from imposing a different co-payment, deductible, limit on quantity, or other conditions on retail than on mail order pharmacy services; requiring an insurance policy or contract or a Pharmacy Benefits Manager to allow an insured or certificate holder to obtain pharmaceutical benefits from the pharmacy or pharmacist of the insured or certificate holder's choice; etc.
