Courts - Health Care Injuries - Standard of Proof for Liability for Emergency Care

Synopsis:

Exempting specified health care providers from civil liability for specified acts or omissions in providing medical assistance to a victim in a medical facility under specified circumstances; establishing that the standard of proof for liability for specified acts or omissions of specified health care providers is clear and convincing evidence in specified emergency care circumstances; and providing for the application of the Act.
