Wicomico County - Hotel Rental Tax and User Fee - Dedication of Revenue to Youth and Civic Center

Synopsis:

Increasing from 5% to 6% the authorized hotel rental tax rate in Wicomico County; altering the distribution of the hotel rental tax revenue in Wicomico County under specified circumstances; authorizing the governing body of Wicomico County to impose a specified user fee on specified charges for events held at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center; requiring the revenue generated by the user fee to be used for the improvement and renovation of the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center; etc.
